Shuanglong Bridge
The valley streams that flow into the Bijiang River here resemble the shape of two flying dragons, and this is how Shuanglong (in Chinese means double dragons) Bridge over this river got its name.
Local people in Yunlong County often say that this is a place where “your eyes are pleased but your legs suffer“, which means that the views here are beautiful but the mountains are precipitous and the walk is often difficult. Therefore, bridges are seen as important properties and building bridges are regarded as a great event to serve the people and benefit future generations.
