Yongzhen Bridge
Yongzhen Bridge is a timber cantilever arch covered bridge. This is an innovative design that can protects the supporting wooden beams from flood, frost and rain.
Above its abutments are pavilion archways formed from adobe bricks. At the entrance, there is a large semi-circular column. The bridge adopts a Juanpeng Ding (round-ridge roof) that covers the pavilion, and the slopes of the gables on the gate building are topped with different types of grey tiles. Small wooden benches are placed on the bridge, waiting for a passerby to have a rest and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.
