Caifeng Bridge
This bridge has a fancy name Caifeng (which means colorful phoenix in Chinese), but it looks rather simple and plain.
It is a single-span covered bridge, with a high arch formed by stacking staggered square timbers. Like the bridge’s appearance, the people living nearby are also unsophisticated. There is a small clinic not far from the bridge. The doctors and nurses there are all volunteers. They provide good medical care to the elders in the village so that they don’t have to travel long distances to see a doctor in the town.
