2022 Beijing International Brand Week Opens in Beijing

On November 1, 2022 Beijing International Brand Week opened in Beijing, with more than 100 experts, scholars, guests, and representatives of foreign organizations attending the opening ceremony online and offline. The theme of this year's Beijing International Brand Week is the era of brand new heart. Participants from all walks of life closely focus on the key elements of brand building, brand innovation and brand communication, and how local brands can integrate into the new journey of Chinese modernization under the new development pattern of "Dual Cycle". In-depth discussions and exchanges were held, contributing wisdom to the promotion of high-quality new development of Chinese brands.




Wu Hongbo, President of China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA), Sun Xiao, Secretary General of CICC, and Wang Yudong, Deputy Director of Beijing International Design Week Organizing Committee Office, attended the opening ceremony of the event and delivered speeches.


Focusing on "Chinese-style modernization", the participating experts agreed that the exploration and practice of Chinese-style modernization must be accompanied by the solid pace of strengthening the country with brands, and that accelerating brand building and leveraging Brand Leadership is a realistic path to promote a strong and resilient national economic cycle and accelerate the construction of a new development pattern. Brand building is the focus of creating a high-quality open economic system, but also the core value of enterprises and competitiveness of the comprehensive embodiment. High-level, self-reliant and self-improving Chinese brand enterprises must not be absent from the new development pattern.


The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), together with other relevant departments, has recently issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting Brand Building in the New Era", in which the milestones for brand building in 2025 and 2035 are clearly set out. In this regard. In this regard, in the three round tables of "Brand and City", "Brand and Enterprise" and "Brand and Media", experts and scholars had a heated discussion on the topics of "First-class Brand Enterprises", "Industrial Brands", "Regional Brands", "Digital Brands" and "World Sharing of Chinese Brands".


Beijing International Brand Week also released for the first time the "City Brand (Domain Brand) Contribution Power Report", which put forward the concepts of "domain brand" and "brand contribution power" for the first time.


It is reported that Beijing International Brand Week is organized by China International Public Relations Association, China International Chamber of Commerce and Beijing International Design Week Organizing Committee, and has been presented as an independent unit of Beijing International Design Week since this year, and is held once a year, which will play a positive role in promoting China's brand building, broadening China's brand dissemination channels, and enriching cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign brands.
