Being one of the largest, highest, and most abundant nature reserves in China, Hoh Xil Nature Reserve is located in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, about 200 kilometers west of Golmud City in Haixi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Besides, it is also the world’s third largest no-man land. With the absence of human, Hoh Xil has preserved its primitive state—a beautiful landscape including valleys, glaciers, frost mounds, stone forests and boiling springs.

The reserve is rich in wildlife species. Tibetan antelope is the most representative one. In addition to antelopes, visitors can also catch a sight of wild yaks, wild donkeys, white-lipped deer and brown bears, which are all native to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Hoh Xil means “beautiful girl” in Mongolian. Come and see the most pristine beauty of nature!
