White Dew
The White Dew falls on September 7, 8 or 9. The temperature at this time of year declines gradually and vapors in the air often condense into white dew on the grass and trees at night. However, the summer heat still lingers, which leads to the biggest temperature variation between day and night of the year. White Dew is a time of mellow fruitfulness.
Sweet-scented osmanthus is in full blossom now, shedding its pleasant fragrance throughout the air. lts flowers are small with different colors ranging from yellowish white to yellow and orange. They are a feast for both the eyes and the stomach of Chinese people, as the petals are often made into tea, wine, and cakes, and of course the trendy drinks that are now the favourite of young Chinese: milk tea and coffee. That's all for today, I'm going to get an osmanthus latte!☕
