Chinese people have a deep love for nature. We often express this feeling into artworks. Today’s cultural relic is a top-grade Qianlong-era pastel work. The body of this vessel has a picture of a hundred deers, and is known as the “hundred-deer Zun.” Each deer is different from the others and they all look real. The base has six seal-script characters meaning “made during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty.”
