Showcasing an array of borrowed treasures from renowned museums, such as the Mineralogy Museum Mines Paris - PSL, a selection from jewelry Maisons, such as Van Cleef & Arpels, the Boucheron private collection, and the Cartier collection, mining company Gemfields, and private collectors, such as Albion Art Jewellery Institute, some exhibits are displayed for the first time.
According to Marie-Laure Cassius Duranton, curator of the exhibition, education remains a main objective in the exhibition where educational elements can be seen through texts, animations, videos, and interactive activities.

"With a focus on the geological origins of emeralds, visitors will embark on a journey tracing the transformation of these stones from raw minerals to exquisite jewelry pieces, and understand the inclusions as the characteristics of gemstones,'' she says. "Through scientific, craftwork, cultural, and artistic lenses, the exhibit explores the history and culture of emeralds across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East."
With public admission free, the exhibition is also part of the 18th edition of the Croisements Festival, celebrating exchanges between Chinese and French art and culture institutes, and inviting the public to enjoy the jewelry arts on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In addition to the exhibition, L'ÉCOLE is hosting a Jewelry Arts Festival from Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2, and June 8-10, featuring open events including course demonstrations, guided tours, workshops for children and teenagers, and themed lectures that bridge the gap between mineralogy, gem appreciation, history, and art.
