Xi’an Museum
Xi’an Museum consists of three parts: the museum itself, Jianfu Temple and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a national first-class museum, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, and a key protected site of national ancient books. Small Wild Goose Pagoda, as a site on “Silk Road: Chang’an-Tian Shan Corridor" is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The museum is located at the Friendship West Road, outside the South Gate of Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. It covers an area of approximately 16,000 square meters and houses over 130,000 cultural relics, spanning important dynasties such as Han, Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming. By showcasing city models of various periods including the Zhou, Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, the museum presents the historical development of Xi’an. Additionally, it displays exquisite cultural relics from different periods in the Xi’an region in chronological order, fully showcasing the historical development and unique cultural charm of Xi’an, the ancient capital spanning thousands of years.
