Look at the first picture, you can see the serene beauty of the dramatic gorges of the Nine-Bend River with smooth rock cliffs and clear, deep water. Situated along this river are numerous temples and monasteries, which provide the setting for the development and spread of neo-Confucianism, a political philosophy which has been very influential in East Asia since the 11th century. There is also a protective area for the Remains of the Ancient Han Dynasty. It is a large administrative capital built by the Han dynasty rulers. As you can see in the third picture, its massive red walls enclose an archaeological site of great significance. This is a perfect destination for travelers to enjoy mountain climbing and feel the history and culture at the same time.
