As the Spring Festival approaches, Li Yinjie is busy making paper-cutting artwork to welcome the Year of the Dragon.
Li has created several collections of exquisite paper-cutting works based on the Year of the Dragon. She is a city-level inheritor of the Jishan paper-cutting skills from Jishan county of Yuncheng city, Shanxi province.
"I hope to express my wishes for our country to be more prosperous and the people's lives to be happier," she said.
Jishan paper-cutting has a long history and was listed as the city's intangible cultural heritage in 2018.
