Shi Rufei, a deputy to the National People's Congress, proposed establishing a national intangible cultural heritage park for Liubao Tea in an interview with China Daily website.
As an inheritor of Liubao Tea-related intangible cultural heritage from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Shi said tourists and tea enthusiasts need a place where they can fully grasp the rich culture and history behind the tea, which is known for its export and popularity among overseas Chinese communities.
