Comic strips have long been a beloved art form, appealing to individuals of diverse ages, educational backgrounds, and walks of life. This category seamlessly integrates techniques, aesthetics, and themes that address social concerns, making it a powerful medium for storytelling.
The ongoing exhibition New Journey, New Chapter at the Ningbobang Museum in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, showcases over 140 comic strip works from creators across the country. The exhibition emphasizes a realistic approach to portraying individuals from various backgrounds who have made significant contributions to society.

Initially launched in 2010 by the China Artists Association, this biennial exhibition aims to foster the creation of comic strips.
The current show in Ningbo will run until May 25, after which it will travel to Urumqi in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Huai'an in Jiangsu province, Guilin in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Qingdao in Shandong province, and finally, Shanghai.
