CSG and CFRD jointly organized ‘My Writing Can Sing - 2023 Zhixing Children's Reading Festival’

To celebrate the 28th World Reading Day, China Southern Power Grid (CSG) and the China Foundation for Rural Development (CFRD) jointly organized the ‘My Writing Can Sing - 2023 Zhixing Children's Reading Festival’.

Launched by CSG in 2019, The CSG Zhixing Reading Space project has established 260 reading facilities for thousands of school children across five provinces in China.

In 2021, CSG and CFRD established the CSG Zhixing Education Development Fund (ZEDF) to enhance children's access to reading in underprivileged areas.

China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (CSG) was established on December 29th, 2002 in accordance with “The Power Sector De-regulatory Reform Program” promulgated by the State Council of China. CSG invests, constructs and operates power networks in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan provinces and regions. The service area is of 1 million square kilometers, with a population of 230 million.

Established in 1989, China Foundation for Rural Development (CFRD) is a nationwide non-governmental charitable organization. It has become one of the largest and most influential philanthropic organizations in the field of poverty alleviation in China.
